LONDRES, REINO UNIDO<\/strong> \u2014 Aquavista Boat Sales ha anunciado la puesta a la venta de Elsie May<\/strong>, una barcaza holandesa Tjalk de 1915 considerada una de las mejores casas flotantes disponibles actualmente en la capital. Built in Holland in 1915, Elsie May originally carried potatoes along Dutch waterways before conversion into a houseboat. Acquired by her current owner in December 2012, she has since undergone a comprehensive refit and redesign. Works included full closed-cell foam insulation of the hull interior, a raised roof, an extended wheelhouse converted to an office, new fresh-water and waste systems, a Kabola heating installation and a Victron inverter with leisure battery bank, together with bespoke double-glazed timber windows.<\/p>\n
